Former Bristol City Women's team manager Matt Beard dies aged 47

Former Bristol City Women's team manager Matt Beard has died aged 47. Beard, who managed the club on an interim basis in 2021, also had two spells as manager of Liverpool's women's team.

Bristol City said in a statement: "Bristol City Football Club are deeply shocked and saddened by the passing of Matt Beard.
