LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - A more active weather pattern takes hold Sunday. Scattered showers are possible Sunday morning before storm chances climb during the afternoon. Some storms could be strong with heavy rain, lightning, and gusty winds the main concerns. Storms begin to fade after sunset tonight but scattered showers linger into the overnight hours.

Rain will also become more widespread again by sunrise Monday. Lows in the 60s. Fall officially kicks off Monday but it won’t feel like it
