LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - The final day of the Louisville music festival Louder Than Life was halted as organizers said severe weather was approaching.

Officials told attendees to seek shelter at Freedom Hall or their nearest safe shelter location a little after 11 a.m., but said they planned to continue the show soon.

In an update just before 12:10 p.m., organizers announced on social media that they were getting ready for the festival grounds to reopen at 12:15 p.m. and the shuttle services were running.

Just after 12:25 p.m., officials posted that the gates were now back open. The first act will begin at 12:40 p.m. and the rest of the updated set times are expected to be posted soon.
