SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) - Moisture is returning to start off the week, bringing scattered to numerous showers and storms, with the best chances Tuesday. But even today, we are likely to see the radar fire up later today with a few storms building inland late in the day and drifting southwest.

By midweek, upper air winds shift again and moisture is pushed east and south and slightly drier air moves in, trimming back rain chances but still leaving scattered activity in place. As the week ends, a cold front approaches and slows across north Florida by Saturday, leading to more clouds and a better chance of showers through the weekend.
