Monday through Wednesday will be mostly sunny, with some chances for spotty showers or storms mainly in the mountains. High temperatures will be in the mid to upper 80s in the Upstate, and the upper 70s and low 80s in the mountains.
Thursday and Friday bring the best chances for rain ahead of a cold front. Scattered to numerous showers and storms are likely. Damaging wind and localized flash flooding are possible. The area could see 1 to 2 inches of rain. High temperatures will be in the upper 70s and low 80s in the Upstate, and the mid to upper 70s in the mountains.

The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Hurricane Gabrielle, located over the central subtropical Atlantic a few hundred miles southeast of Bermuda.
A tropical wave
