PEORIA, Ill. – Gas prices in Peoria have dropped 0.8 cents a gallon in the last week, averaging $3.32 on Monday, according to GasBuddy’s survey of 148 gas stations.
Prices in Peoria are 1.4 cents higher than last month and 10.4 cents lower than this time last year.
GasBuddy price reports on Sunday showed the cheapest gas in Peoria was $3.19 a gallon while the most expensive gas was $3.49. The lowest price in the state was $2.69 and the highest price was $4.69 a gallon.
GasBuddy’s national average price of gas has gone up 2.2 cents a gallon in the last week, averaging $3.14 on Monday, unchanged from a month ago and 1.8 cents lower than this time last year.
“The national average saw a slight increase last week, primarily driven by states that experienced price cycling just ahead of the s
