High pressure along the coast will keep most of us dry today, with a decent amount of sunshine. But an approaching storm system will start to change things by this evening.
Expect clouds to thicken up by late afternoon. Some in the Adirondacks could see a few, light, isolated showers. High temperatures peak in the 70's across the region.
Tonight, steadier showers are possible in the Adirondacks and parts of the western Mohawk Valley and Catskills. Most everyone else will be dry. With the unsettled conditions, temperatures stay quite mild - only down to around 60 in Albany and in the 50's elsewhere.
