MINOT, ND (KXNET) — They may not be out in a literal field, but that's not stopping the Minot Public Library from getting active with this year's Literacy in the Field event. Families and young kids from all over Minot gathered on Saturday to get their creative juices flowing - and maybe even come away with a prize at the end of the day.
Whether you're a bookworm or not, Literacy in the Field had something for any and every guest. Saturday's event had four book stations that kids could visit throughout the afternoon, with a chance to take home a book of their own if they got enough stamps at these reading pit-stops.
