AMSTERDAM, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Route 30, also known as Market Street, in Amsterdam will be closed to southbound traffic from Monday through Friday. The closure will be in effect each day from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The city said northbound traffic will remain open. Motorists are asked to use the detour to Northampton Road. Anyone with questions can contact the city at (518) 841-4331.
