BISMARCK, ND (KXNET) - Every two years, the Bismarck Police Department reaches out to the community with a simple request: share your thoughts. The 2025 Biennial Citizen Survey is now open, giving residents a chance to speak honestly about their experiences and perceptions of local law enforcement.

The survey covers a range of topics—from how safe people feel in their neighborhoods to how fairly they believe officers treat individuals regardless of race, gender, or background. It also asks about the department’s communication efforts, officer professionalism, and overall trust in the police.
