Jay Slater's mum has shared the truth about what the teenager's bag contained on the day he died in a new documentary on the 19-year-old.

The teenager was in Tenerife on holiday when he went missing in June 2024, which sparked off a huge search and rescue mission on the island.

Jay's body was found just under a month later at the Juan Lopez Ravine, with an inquest earlier this year determining the teenager's death had been "accidental" with "no third-party involved."

A year on from the tragedy, a Channel 4 documentary entitled The Disappearance of Jay Slater is setting out to put to bed the mystery and theories around the Lancashire resident's death.
