Most of the WLKY viewing area finally got some rain on Sunday and daily rain chances will continue for the new work week.

Monday is an impact weather day as scattered showers and storms are likely from the late morning into the afternoon and evening. Some of the storms could be on the stronger side, with gusty winds and heavy downpours producing lots of thunder and lightning.
