High street beauty chain to close all stores 'by Saturday' View Image

Administrators of high street beauty chain Bodycare have announced the closure of its 56 remaining stores, resulting in 444 redundancies.

It is expected that all the stores will be shut by Saturday. The joint administrators of G.R. & M.M. Blackledge plc, trading as Bodycare, provided an update regarding the progress of the administration on Monday afternoon.

They said they had "continued to liaise with a number of parties who have expressed interest in the business, including interest in the Bodycare brand. While these discussions remain ongoing, it is with regret that the administrators confirm that a sale of the stores is now unlikely".
