I-40 East shut down after deadly crash involving oversized load, other commercial vehicles

LEXINGTON, Tenn. (WSMV) - The Tennessee Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly crash on Interstate 40 East on Monday morning.

THP reports that the crash involves an oversized load and at least two other commercial vehicles.

A large beam is across the roadway, and extended closures of I-40 East at Mile Marker 98 are expected.
