The sheriff's office said the shooting occurred on the 6000 block of Orange Avenue, where a man was shot once in the hip.

SCSO said the man was transported to a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries and there is no danger to the public.

At this time, SCSO has not released any information on the suspect.
