DICKINSON — Caleb Usher, 25, of Dickinson was arrested Wednesday, Sept. 17, on charges of gross sexual imposition, promoting or directing an obscene sexual performance by a minor and possession of certain materials prohibited, according to a news release from the Dickinson Police Department.

A news release issued by the police said they received a report alleging a 12-year-old minor had been sexually assaulted by a 25-year-old adult male. After an investigation, the release said police determined Usher to be the alleged adult male and promptly arrested him.

Gross sexual imposition is a Class AA felony; promoting or directing an obscene sexual performance by a minor is a Class A felony; and possession of certain materials prohibited is a Class B felony.
