GREEN LEVEL, N.C. — Five people were injured after a shooting broke out at a massive party in Alamance County over the weekend.
According to the Alamance County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to the intersection of Florence Road and West Simpson Road in Green Level around 3:20 a.m. on Saturday after a call reporting shots fired. When they arrived on scene, deputies were made aware of five people who had been shot at a "rather large party with at least 200-plus people attending."
Deputies say all five victims were treated for non-life-threatening injuries at the scene. As of Monday morning, one individual was still in the hospital.
The Alamance County Sheriff's Office said none of the victims of partygoers have been cooperative with investigators.
