Tonight features scattered showers, especially in our northern and western counties this evening closer to an area of low pressure that is draped up across the Great Lakes. Though that is far away from us, the position of that area of low pressure will enable a southerly flow to advect moist air into the region, enabling the risk for scattered downpours. As a result, we will see mostly cloudy skies with scattered downpours during the overnight. Low temperatures will drop down to the upper 50s to right around 60 degrees. Though clouds will remain primarily overcast, any town that sees skies clear will be susceptible to patchy dense fog.
