FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A fire fed by poisonous materials damaged multiple commercial vehicles at a Fresno warehouse early Sunday morning.

The fire was reported at the Foster Farms Warehouse around 2 a.m.

On scene, crews found a large pile of pallets engulfed in flames, threatening a nearby business, commercial vehicles, and rail cars. The fire was contained before it extended to surrounding structures, but multiple commercial vehicles sustained damage.

During the firefight, crews discovered that some of the pallets were storing insect poison; Fresno County Health was called in to confirm that no additional hazards were present.
