AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - The Panhandle Adult Rehabilitation Center (PARC) will soon open the doors to its new facility, welcoming its increasing number of members.

“We were running out of room. We were running out of chairs, and places for them to sit, and I’m so excited that in this place we’ll have so much more space and so many more of those that can come,” says PARC Executive Director Valerie Gooch.

According to Gooch, the new facility will allow room for 178 members to be served at a time, verses the previous 60-person capacity.

Gooch says the new facility will have more bathrooms, a coffee and snack bar, an outdoor space, and safe area to store their items.

This allows the PARC to properly serve the increasing number of members it has seen over the past several years.
