FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A fire destroyed two businesses in Downtown Fresno early Tuesday morning, according to the Fresno Fire Department.
Fire crews said they received multiple calls around 2 a.m. of a fire at Broadway and Los Angeles Streets. When fire crews arrived, they found active flames coming through the roof of one of the buildings.
“Fire was from the front to the back and from the floor to the roof; flames through the top”, said Fresno City Fire Battalion Chief Tony Escobedo.
Escobedo said the cause of the fire is under investigation; no injuries were reported.
