CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A Charlotte massage therapist was arrested after a client discovered a cell phone recording her as she undressed at a Park Road spa, according to police documents.
Jarrod Dequan Crawford, who worked at Silent Moments Spa, faces felony charges of secret peeping using a photographic imaging device following the Sept. 22 incident.
The victim went to the spa for a massage service, according to an affidavit obtained by WCNC Charlotte. Crawford allegedly instructed the victim to undress and place her clothes in a corner of the room before the massage.
After completing the massage, the victim returned to the room to get dressed when she noticed a flashing light from a cellphone positioned next to a black backpack, the affidavit states. Police say the phone was recording her.
