STATE COLLEGE, Pa. (WTAJ) — A man who pleaded guilty to planning an attack on State College Area High School in April was sentenced Tuesday.
Braeden Phillips was sentenced to 165 days served and will be released. However, he will be under intensive supervision for the next five years. He was also ordered to have no access to schools within 100 feet unless notified ahead of time by the probation department.
As of this writing, the 21-year-old is still being held at a Centre County Correctional Facility as probation and parole determine the conditions of his release.
In August, Phillips pled guilty to one count of felony terroristic threats as part of a deal reached. As part of the agreement, he will undergo a mental health evaluation during the five-year supervision.
