CLEVELAND — The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) is ready to move on to the next phase of its $173 million project to replace the pavement on I-90 between West Boulevard in Cleveland to Hilliard Boulevard in Rocky River .

According to a release from ODOT, starting Tuesday, Oct. 7, the West Boulevard entrance ramp to I-90 westbound will be closed through early December for pavement replacement.

Motorists are advised to use the detour of Lorain Avenue to West 117th Street to I-90 West.

Since the project began, there have been several key traffic impacts:

I-90 eastbound between Hilliard Blvd. and Alger Road has been reduced to three lanes through November 2026 for pavement replacement.
