(WHTM)-- September is Hunger Action Month, and it's estimated that 1.2 million Pennsylvanians are food insecure.

Food insecurity is defined as not having enough to eat or not knowing where the next meal is coming from. abc27's Dennis Owens is hosting a statewide town hall on the topic.

Most Pennsylvanians are not worried about where their next meal is coming from, but too many still are. It is estimated that 13% of Pennsylvanians, including many children, fall into this category.

The town hall is set to begin at 12:30 p.m. and will feature food banks and experts from across the Commonwealth who are working to ensure Pennsylvanians have access to proper nutrition.
