OGDEN, Utah (WFRV) - Former Bay Port High School standout Connor Bagnieski is making headlines after a historic season in the Pioneer League, highlighted by a rare four-home-run performance.
The 27-year-old slugger, a 2016 Bay Port graduate, began his career in the Northwoods League with the Green Bay Rockers, then known as the Bullfrogs. He later played at Radford University in 2021, hitting .259 with three home runs and 29 RBIs in 46 games.
After college, Bagnieski turned to independent baseball, professional leagues unaffiliated with Major League Baseball but known for producing notable players such as Darryl Strawberry and Rickey Henderson.
