United States President Donald Trump is giving health advice to pregnant mothers to avoid taking Tylenol, despite Canadian docs saying it’s OK.

“I want to say it like it is, don’t take Tylenol. Don’t take it,” Trump said in a CBC.ca story . “Fight like hell not to take it.”

The comment came at the end of a White House event Sept. 22, and follows a recent U.S. study published that suggested there was a connection between acetaminophen and Autism Spectrum Disorder.

The Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of Canada (SOGC) is reassuring pregnant people that it’s safe to take Tylenol and other acetaminophen products, despite recent controversy.
