GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) - A car caught fire as it was taking the U.S. Interstate 70 off-ramp on Tuesday morning.

The vehicle was attempting to turn onto Horizon Drive when the fire occurred. The Grand Junction Fire Department responded to the scene and extinguished the blaze.

The car was blocking one of the off-ramps while the other one remained open was open. However, the second off-ramp was heavily congested due to the closure.

Injuries, if any, are unknown at this time.
