If you purchased the carbonated beverage Poppi within the last five years, you may be entitled to compensation as the drink’s former company settled an $8.9 million class action lawsuit.

VNGR Beverage LLC, the manufacturer that used to own Poppi until PepsiCo bought the brand earlier this year, agreed to settle claims which accused the prebiotic drinks of being improperly marketed. The lawsuit said the drink being labeled as “gut healthy” on their packaging was deceiving.

Those who purchased Poppi between Jan. 23, 2020, and July 18, 2025, can file a claim and receive a portion of the settlement.

The deadline to submit a claim is Sept. 26, 2025.

The amount of money received depends on the amount of Poppi the customer bought during that time frame. The class payment set-up is as follow
