AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - A Randall County judge sentenced a man to 15 years in prison today.

Jacob Daniel Ochoa, 27, was charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child in January 2019, a first-degree felony. The date of the offense is listed as 2016.

He was placed on 8 years probation in October 2021.

A charge of failing to register as a sex offender was filed in Potter County in August 2022.

His probation in Randall County was extended by two years in October 2022 and he was ordered to serve weekends in county jail.

A second motion to revoke was filed in 47th District Court in June.

He appeared before Honorable Judge Dee Johnson this morning and pled true to the allegations.

His probation was revoked and Ochoa sentenced to 15 years in prison.
