NOKOMIS, Fla. ( WWSB ) - A traffic stop in Nokomis Sunday led to the arrest of a suspected drug trafficker, the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office said.

On Sept. 21, deputies pulled over a driver identified as Clydrick Antoine Lewis, 40, at a Nokomis gas station. Deputies say inside the rental vehicle Lewis was driving they found a stolen 9mm Glock 26, 142.1 grams of powder cocaine, 35.6 grams of crack cocaine, 44.7 grams of raw marijuana, numerous bags of pills and more.

Lewis faces multiple charges, including firearm possession and drug trafficking.

Lewis faces the following charges:

Possession of a firearm by a Florida convicted felon

Possession of ammunition by a Florida convicted felon

Trafficking in cocaine (armed)

Trafficking in MDMA (armed)

Possession of amphetamine/dextroa
