GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — New reports are saying U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement is looking for office space in Grand Rapids.
Employees with the U.S. General Services Administration anonymously told NPR that it's part of a nationwide initiative to find space for the increase of immigration enforcement numbers.
On its website, GSA said the government is looking for leases of furnished office space to support operations of law enforcement.
Grand Rapids was included in a list of cities alongside roughly 20 others across the country. The lease terms would be for 10 years.
