COLLEGE STATION, Texas — Season 28 of NBC’s The Voice debuted Sept. 22 on KCEN, and one singer from Central Texas quickly caught the attention of the coaches.

20-year-old Aiden Ross, a College Station resident and sophomore engineering student at Texas A&M, took the stage with a voice that turned heads from the very first note. During his blind audition, he performed his own rendition of Adele's "Love in the Dark."

“Aiden’s voice was just unbelievable," Niall Horan, The Voice coach said. "From the second he opened his mouth, I could see him in the final."

All four judges, Niall Horan, Reba McEntire, Snoop Dogg and Michael Bublé all turned their chairs within the first 17 seconds of Ross singing his first note.

McEnitre called Ross' performance "mesmerizing."
