FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE) - A Fresno native secured a spot Monday night on Snoop Dogg's team on NBC's "The Voice."
On the episode that aired Monday night for season 28 of the show, Ralph Edwards from Fresno got a spot on Snoop's team.
Edwards sang "Lights" by Journey and had all four judges, Niall Horan, Michael Bublé, Reba McEntire and Snoop turn their chairs for him.
His love of music began at the age of three and was inspired by his late grandfather. When his grandfather died, he began finding comfort and inspiration in signs of his presence.
Edwards joined the choir at Fresno City College, which gave him opportunities to tour France and compete in local talent competitions.
He now fronts his own band called VibeCheck, blending genres and earning a strong following.
