MERCED, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - A vehicle overturned Tuesday morning while going on an off-ramp in Merced County on Highway 99.

Officers responded to a solo vehicle collision on the southbound Highway 99 on the Mariposa and Yosemite off-ramp.

California Highway Patrol says that the vehicle failed to stop at the bottom of the ramp, struck the curb and overturned off the roadway.

In a picture posted by CHP, the vehicle's windshield and the top of the vehicle are damaged.

CHP reminds people to make sure their vehicle's brakes, tires and steering components are inspected regularly.

There is no information on whether or not anyone was injured.
