ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Senator Jeremy Cooney presented The Little Theatre in Rochester with over $200,000 in state funding on Tuesday.
The theatre is renowned for hosting a diverse range of entertainment events and films, serving as a cultural hub in the community since it opened in 1929.
"The Little is a community cornerstone, beloved by Rochesterians for showing award-winning films in the heart of downtown Rochester," said Senator Jeremy Cooney, “As the federal government continues to de-prioritize supporting the arts, it’s important for New York State and community members to come together to support institutions like ‘The Little.’"
