Former Vice President Kamala Harris is revealing how she first felt after losing the 2024 election to President Donald Trump .

During an appearance on ABC’s “The View” on Tuesday, Harris said she has not talked about election night with her husband, former Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff, since she began writing her new book , “107 Days,” which was released Tuesday. She recalled that Emhoff, who was campaigning in Pennsylvania, had heard that she was bound to perform poorly in the state — and he prayed that “it was not going to be a bad night.”

Harris went on to lose all seven battleground states.
