SHAMROCK, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — The Texas Department of Public Safety reported that two people were arrested and around nine pounds of suspected drugs were seized during a traffic stop in Wheeler County on Monday.
According to Texas DPS, on Sept. 22, a DPS Trooper stopped a vehicle going east on I-40 near Shamrock for a traffic violation.
DPS said during the stop, the Trooper found multiple vacuum-sealed packages of suspected methamphetamine, several plastic bags of suspected marijuana and four THC-infused vape pens inside luggage.
DPS said the driver, Kametra Taylor, 42, and a passenger, Stephon Mack, 22, both from Tulsa Oklahoma, were arrested and booked into the Wheeler County Jail for "felony possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of marijuana."
