LOGAN — Paramedics were called to a Lewiston farm Tuesday after a teenage boy was injured in a farm accident. The incident was reported just before 4 p.m. near 2800 W. 800 S.

According to emergency radio communication at the time, a 15-year-old boy got his hand caught in the chain of a corn truck. He reportedly passed out and lost consciousness briefly.

Another individual witnessed the accident and called 911. They reported the teenage boy later regained consciousness and got his hand free from the chain.

Paramedics transported the boy to Cache Valley Hospital. He was alert and breathing.

The boy’s identity wasn’t released.
