CLARKSBURG, W.Va. (WBOY) — One person was taken to the hospital Tuesday evening after a vehicle accident with reported ejection just south of Clarksburg.

The wreck happened at about 6:28 p.m. on Good Hope Pike, just south of the intersection with Davisson Run Road, according to the Harrison County 911 log. 12 News sent a reporter to the scene, who found that two dark-colored SUVs had collided, and both had heavy front-end damage.

12 News spoke with a bystander on the scene who said he didn't see the crash but came to provide help after hearing what sounded like several car crashes. It's worth noting that one of the vehicles was missing its sunroof, which could be found shattered several feet away. There were also several black, round imprints on the road, about the size of tires.
