The organisers on Tuesday announced a refund for patrons who were dissatisfied with the wet garba ground at the United Way of Baroda (UWB) on the first night of Navratri on Monday. ARTICLE CONTINUES BELOW VIDEO

Agitated over the inconvenience, at least 700 patrons surrendered their passes at the UWB office on Tuesday, organisers said. The UWB announced a window between 10am and 3pm for processing the refunds.

On Monday evening, a group of garba players raised slogans and interrupted the celebrations in protest, seeking a refund over the wet ground.
