LAS VEGAS ( FOX5 ) — Officials from Boyd Gaming confirmed a cybersecurity incident had led to data being compromised, according to government documents.
According to a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, Boyd Gaming Corporation recently faced a cybersecurity incident. Officials said the incident had no impact on the company’s properties or business operations.
“Upon detecting the incident, the Company promptly took steps to respond to the incident with the assistance of leading external cybersecurity experts and in cooperation with federal law enforcement authorities,” the filing said.
Information about some employees and “a limited number of other individuals” was removed by a third party, the document said, adding that the impacted individuals have been notified
