New York Jets linebackers Quincy Williams (shoulder) and Marcelino McCrary-Ball (hamstring) will be placed on injured reserve due to injuries suffered in last week's game and will miss at least four games, the team announced Tuesday.

Williams, 29, left Sunday's 29-27 loss at Tampa Bay late in the first half with a left shoulder injury after a Buccaneers offensive lineman landed on him. He has been a mainstay in the middle of the Jets defense since he was claimed by New York ahead of the 2021 season when Jacksonville placed the former third-round pick on waivers after just two seasons.

He has surpassed 100 total tackles and 70 solo tackles in each of his first four seasons in New York, earning a first-team All-Pro honor in 2023. He has made 72 starts in 86 career games, recording 545 tack
