MINNEAPOLIS — Police say they've arrested a 24-year-old man who they believe pulled the trigger in a deadly mass shooting on Aug. 26 in south Minneapolis.
One person was killed and six others were injured after dozens of shots were fired just before 1:30 p.m. on Aug. 26 near the intersection of 29th Street South and Clinton Avenue South. The shooting occurred near Cristo Rey Jesuit High School, which was in session at the time. The man killed was later identified as 35-year-old Gregory Sweeten.
Minneapolis Police say the suspect was arrested Monday without incident and then charged with murder on Tuesday.
Trayveion Alvin Green is charged with one count of second-degree murder and six counts of attempted second-degree murder. Two other people — Ryan Timothy Quinn, 33, and Tiffany Lynn
