After relocating to Shockoe Bottom last year, a local simple syrup maker is expanding its offerings.

Crescent Simples, which runs its production facility out of the former Bryant’s Hard Cider location at 2114 E. Main St., has just launched a new cranberry ginger simple syrup to cater to fall and winter tastes.

Crescent Simples is owned and run by married couple Megan and William Miller and offers non-alcoholic syrups for drink mixes. Since founding the business in 2019, the Millers have grown Crescent into a national operation, with around 350 wholesale accounts across the country in over 40 states selling the company’s syrup bottles directly to consumers.
