CONCORD, N.C. (WBTV) - Vice President JD Vance visited Cabarrus County on Wednesday afternoon.
Vance made a stop in Concord around 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 24, to make remarks on President Donald Trump’s “tax cut for working families.” A live stream of the event can be watched in the video player above.

Vance’s visit to North Carolina was coming at a time when he and the Trump administration were focusing their attention on violence in cities and the topic of free speech in the wake of Charlie Kirk’s assassination.
An official release stated that during his trip to Concord, Vance would also discuss how the Trump administration is “committed to empowering state and local law enforcement.”
