The Denver volleyball team picked up their second straight win against class 2A No. 3 Dike-New Hartford 3-0. The Cyclones won the first two sets by a comfortable margin before securing the victory in a close third set.

The two teams had met just a few days prior at the Wolverines’ home tournament on Saturday, September 20. The Cyclones won that matchup 2-0 with set scores of 25-18 and 25-14.

Three days later, the Cyclones would look to defeat the talented Wolverine squad at home. Before the match got started though, the Cyclones held their Senior Night celebration for a class that has been to the state tournament for the past three years, including last year’s state championship win.
