HARTFORD, Conn. — A Farmington roofing contractor pleaded guilty in Hartford federal court on Wednesday to a tax evasion offense, according to a report from the Interim U.S. Attorney for the District of Connecticut.
Angelo Delmaro, 48, waived his right to be indicted before making the plea.
He also agreed to pay back $630,869 to the Internal Revenue Service.
Documents and statements from court show that since at least 2012, Delmaro has owned and ran commercial roofing businesses in Connecticut.

Delmaro initially did business as “Value Roofing.” He then changed the name to “Roofing Services of New England” before most recently altering it to “Roofing Services.”
