PAPILLION, Neb. —
Seniors don't always have the chance to attend live concerts, but some metro organizations are hoping to change that.
The Omaha Broadway Bar partnered with local senior living centers to bring the music to the people.
Michael Pollock is the wellness director at Hillcrest Health Services, and he also plays the drums.
He decided to combine his love of music and of helping seniors to bring them an accessible concert, called the Broadway and Brownies Concert.
The concert took place at Sumtur Amphitheater during the daytime so as many seniors as possible could enjoy the live music.
"This was a very good chance to reminisce, and I think everybody had a wonderful time. It's beautiful music, and I wish we could do this every day," said concertgoer Donna Urbanski.
