As part of a public awareness campaign to assist fire-torn communities, Los Angeles County Wednesday announced 23 new billboards are going up to encourage residents to support small and micro businesses impacted by January’s wildfires.
The billboards — a mix of digital premier panels, digital bulletins, transit shelters and printed postal panels — will be up through November, reminding residents and visitors that every purchase at a local shop or restaurant directly helps businesses recover from losses to property, revenue and customers, particularly those hardest hit by the Eaton and Palisades fires.
Clear Channel Outdoor, an outdoor advertising company, sponsored the billboards, in a bid to expand the county campaign’s reach.
